Established fifteen years ago, Reclaimed is a company with a deep interest in old wood. We hold a strong commitment to reclaimed timber and to promote the environmentally aware use of it. In our sawmills we miraculously transform industrial joists, rustic timbers and structural beams into smooth golden floorboards and joinery stock. Any of our wood can be sanded, planed or cut to size here, to reveal its beauty, with the richness and depth of colour and texture that only comes with age. Today's marketplace has shown a spiraling interest in reclaimed fine timber. Most of which was shipped to Britain from Colonies and Commonwealth lands in the days before sustainable sources were available. Much of today's demand is for high grade flooring but even in new builds and furniture antique wood holds the illusive quality of character.

Reclaimed is a small business dedicated to excellence as a leading supplier of reclaimed wood flooring and other timbers. More and more consumers are interested in purchasing environment-friendly products for their homes. Reclaimed timbers are a great way of including recycled materials in your programme of work. Installations with Reclaimed Floor boards, shows us that timber created for one project can be reused, even generations later in different ways. "Antique" as used in the flooring industry refers to flooring produced from large timbers retrieved from structures built many years ago, most in the 1800's. We recover/retrieve these timbers. Our sawyers precision mill them into beautiful flooring. The end result is flooring that a homeowner can enjoy and be proud of for a lifetime. We are very proud to be a part of the recycling process and are able to provide to you, a unique and beautiful products. Our wood flooring products include ¾" flooring in 3,4,5,6 and 7" widths (widths up to 12", on occasion). We can also produce for you rough sawn lumber , as well as solid antique beams (available in reclaimed sawn and hand hewn).
The Source of the Wood
Reclaimed regularly work with many of the big London based demolition companies as a way of turning up fabulous timbers and other items of interest in architectural salvage. Reclaimed team up with McGrath Brothers of London, John F Hunts Demolition of Grays Essex and Oakwood Demolition of Edmunton, North London as well as having many international sources. Through these companies Reclaimed are able to secure whole consignments of structural timbers and floorboards etc. from buildings such GEC Marconi in Essex and The Royal Arsenal in Woolwich London and other note worthy buildings in and around the capital and international.
